This is a story that I heard about while I was in Iraq and totally forgot about until I found this article. I remember hearing some guys talking about a sniper hiding a dog from our Sergeant Major, but I didn't know that they got the dog home. I just wanted to share this because it is a really cool story and I knew Corporal Boskovitch.

What a beautiful story...thank you for sharing it with us. I think Cpl Boscovitch wanted to try and ease his mothers grief so I think from heaven he orchestrated getting Beans home to her for support and comfort.

thats a cool story, my dad mentioned something about it to me. He knows someone who was a friend of the family.
WOW I have heard that story and I think that very very nice story. I got a little emotional when I was reading it. There should be more stories like that!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cpl McCauley,
I have followed your blog through out this experience. This story goes to the heart of everything I have read here.
But, just like everthing else I read it here first. So, it has been copied and sent out to my mailing list (on Veterans Day no less). I am sure it will circle the globe soon, good stories always do.
Thank you for the stories from the front. Thank you for the service to your country.
James
