Nothing New

I have nothing new to report at this time. Though, this has me thinking, since my return, I don't think my posts are no where near as interesting as they were while I was in Iraq. So, who still likes to read these posts anyways?

By the way, I am doing various Toys for Tots this week throughout Columbus. So make sure to go out and drop off a toy in the box.

I don't know you personally but I still read your blog. While you were in Iraq I prayed daily for you and Doc. Now that you are home, it is nice to know how things are going for you. Like I stated in a previous comment, you are now a part of my life and daily routine. I continue to pray for 3/25 because there is still healing that needs to happen. Thank you for allowing us to be an ongoing part of your life. We owe so much to all of you.

I also don't know you but appreciate your blog - primarily for feeling 'in touch' with 3/25 while you were gone, but now it is sort of habit. Although they are seasonal, I also appreciated having a place to hear good news about the ball and now with TfT. If you feel like it's time to close the blog, though, I will certainly understand. Thank you for your service, bravery, and for maintaining the blog. Good luck and best wishes - a distant friend of 3/25.

I enjoy your posts since like the others here I have a special place in my heart for you and the Lima Co. I was wondering if you would ever consider writing little bios about the fourteen who were KIA on Aug 3rd? It would be nice to know who liked what type of food, hobbies, etc. Sadly whenever a marine or soldier dies they tend to become just a statistic or number and the general public never really knows the person who made that ultimate sacrafice...which in my opinion is a tragedy as well. I have read some great stories about Lance Cpls Fraser and Reed and there humour.

Happy Holidays Cpl McCauley!!

I'm still front in center. Life may be a little more laid back...but in my opinion I'd rather you have less to write about in that regards than have book upon book of stories about things that we all wish weren't necessary.

Keep it up Cpl McCauley. You were appreciated when you were there, and appreciated now that you're back. I wish there were more blogs like this.

God Bless you, and Merry Christmas
